Welcome
to the Wintergarden Presbyterian Church website. God is busy here and we invite you to
join our growing Wintergarden family for a casual yet traditional worship, Bible study,
fellowship, mission, and ministry. Wintergarden is part of the PC (USA), and part of the Peace River Presbytery.
We affirm our faith with The Nicene Creed. The people of Wintergarden may be from
different cultures and backgrounds, but they are all - like you - Children of God who
would love to invite you to become part of our "Family"
We are a congregation intensly committed to Spreading the Good News of the Gospel and reaching out to those less fortunate than ourselves - tasks given to us by Christ himself. Special Services...
Wholeness and Healing Tuesday Jan 8th 7:00pm
. Services for Wholeness are open to all and not
just restricted to those desiring healing for themselves or for other of special concern.
Join us for an evening for Special prayers, laying on of hands and anointing with oil.
Opportunities for offering one's life and gifts for ministry will be provided as well as
opportunities for reconciliation and renewed commitment to the service of Jesus Christ in
the world.
Blessing of the Beasts Saturday February 9th @ 11 am.
Bring in your pets to be this special service. Guests from Charlotte County Animal Control, Animal Welfare League, local retail Pet Stores and more. All dogs must be on a leash. All other animals must be in carriers. Hotdogs and drink available for humans! .

LEARN A NEW HOBBIE...
Try a Class!
Rug Hooking class taught by Susan Carson. If you are a beginner or stuck on a project, this class is for you. Susan Carson has long studied rug hooking under Marilyn Bottjer, a well known teacher and recipient of the "Silver Hook Award", in the north east. Susan and Marilyn have both recently appeared on HGTV teaching rug hooking techniques. Cost is $45 for 4 weeks. Pre-registration is required. Call Susan at 941-625-8924Learn to Knit with Tammy – Learn the
Basics. 4 weeks beginning Thursday Jan 10, 1-3pm. Cost is $15 per class or $45 for all 4
weeks. Supplies needed 1 skein light colored yarn, 1 pair # 8 needles. Call Tammy to

Line dancing classes on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-9:00pm. Dancers of all levels are encouraged to attend. Join us for some heel kick’n fun! Cost will be $5.00 per person per class. Call Eileen for more information 941-240-2522.

Membership Info
We invite anyone who is a believer in Christ and in the teachings of the Bible to become a member at Wintergarden. Applications are available here, in the Narthex, or ask to speak with our Pastor.
People may join by our congregation either by Baptism, Re-Affirmation of Faith or by Letter of Transfer from a former congregation. You will meet with our Pastor and members of the Session before joining so that you can learn about us as we learn about you.
We celebrate your interest in living a Christ-centered life and welcome you to a life of joy and service for the Glory of God, a life in which all members of Wintergarden believe.
God has given you life and everything in it: now it is time to return everything you have for the Glory of God.
